The Galaxy A22 5G has surfaced at Wi-Fi Alliance with model numbers SM-A226B/DSN and SM-A226. The two listings confirm that it supports dual-band Wi-Fi and 5G and that it runs on Android 11.A Galaxy A22 5G was recently spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking platform with a Dimensity 700 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.
Galaxy A22 5G is rumored to arrive with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. We don’t know if the phone supports HD+ or Full HD+ resolution.
This phone is expected to arrive with a 13 MP selfie camera. It could come with a 48 MP primary camera on the back. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 11 OS and include a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security. The other specifications of the smartphone remain under wraps.
It may be the most affordable 5G-ready Samsung phone with a price tag of 229 euros ($276). It could be available in colors such as grey, white, green, and purple. If they begin shipping in June, some markets are expected to receive the 4G version.
